— The State Theater of Musical Comedy (Operetta) of Uzbekistan is one of the most successful theaters in the country. The purpose of our visit is to communicate with the team, to study the shortcomings and problems, to take measures to eliminate them, to create sufficient conditions for the material and technical base, the creative work of the theater team. In 2022-2023 the collective plans to widely celebrate the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the theater, we need to urgently start repair work said the Minister of Culture.
It should be noted that the theater building is located far from the main street and this causes inconvenience to the audience and the theater staff. In the process of studying the current state of the theater building, it was decided to begin reconstruction work of the visual-stage, sound, lighting equipment and the building as a whole in 2021.
