The State Theater of Musical Comedy (Operetta) of
Uzbekistan hosted a rehearsal of the musical comedy “The Lucky One”
(director Natalia Salikhova).
The play by Marcel Berquier-Marinier is a sitcom. It
discovers a special kind of love triangle: a husband, a lover and a winning
lottery ticket. A musical detective story with unexpected twists, jokes and
simple subtexts, an ironic family comedy that puts faith in better is, perhaps,
the surest way to escape from daily routine and enjoy French music, a variety
of ethnic dances and an exciting play of actors who easily and
naturally live on stage the lives of their unlucky characters.
